What we are looking for: 


We are currently looking for a Billing and Collections Manager for our Billing and Collections team. This person will be a working manager on the front line of a rapidly growing Technology Success Provider.  

Qualifications Include: 

  • Minimum of 3 years of team leadership
  • 3-5 years of recent, relevant hands on billing and collections experience
  • Required experience: Managed Service Provider
  • Experience in using Quickbooks, Excel, ConnectWise
  • Passion for accuracy and building/improving processes
  • Strategic thinker/problem solver
  • Ability to work with a diverse level of people
    • executives, teammates, clients

A successful Billing and Collections Manager will be able to: 

  • Generate invoices for clients timely and accurately each month
  • Manage monthly accounts receivable to budget goal of 22 days
  • Handle client invoice disputes working with the vCIOs, Client Service Managers, Technical Account Managers, and Regional VPs
  • Be a working manager helping the team move daily tasks forward
  • Share expertise with billing and collections and maintain strong relationships and communications with clients 
  • Coach, mentor, and guide the team for growth and success centered around clear expectations and empowerment
  • Understand team objectives, KPI’s, and workflow to align the team for easy success
  • Be the team’s ambassador for all initiatives, processes, responsibilities, and communication.
  • Not only assist in directing the right work to the right teammate but empower and train them to identify and do this without supervision
  • Be an escalation resource to the team by identifying who is the right resource and assisting with proper handoffs
  • Fosters teamwork and provides development opportunities and performance feedback to all direct reports
  • Reviews collection reports to ascertain the status of collections and outstanding balances.
  • Acts as the company’s main point of contact for all billing and collections matters
